The SEA regularly publishes edited volumes which include contributions from the annual meeting. The monographs for the Society for Economic Anthropology contain original essays that explore the connections between economics and social life. Each year’s volume focuses on a different theme in economic anthropology. Earlier volumes have been published with the University Press of America (volumes 1-15, 17) and Rowman & Littlefield (volume 16) . The books are now published jointly by AltaMira Press and the Society for Economic Anthropology.
Some of the older volumes are out of print, others are available only in limited quantity and/or in hardcover. All available volumes (including the ones originally published by University Press of America and Rowman & Littlefield) can be ordered from Altamira Press. SEA Members can purchase some of the Altamira volumes with a special discount. Contact Cynthia Werner for more information (firstname.lastname@example.org)
