Dear colleagues –

I hope you all have been listening to Mergers and Acquisitions, SEA’s podcast. Season Two is well under way with quarterly collections curated and hosted by:

  • Tanya Matthan (Economic Anthropology, Otherwise) Q1
  • Xinyan Peng (Ethnographies of White-collar Workers in East Asia) Q2
  • Sandy Smith-Nonini (The Energy Permacrisis) Q3
  • William Stafford (Exploring Assumptions about the Economic) Q4

Please be sure to subscribe via your favorite podcast service – we are on Spotify, Apple, iHeart Radio, Podchaser and others!

We are thrilled to announce the call for our Season 3 editorial team! All you need is an idea for a quarterly theme and some (highly enjoyable) time to interview colleagues for the show. Most quarterly curators produce a set of three episodes over the course of three months, but you are welcome to do more and to experiment with alternative formats (round table discussions, multi-media, etc). No prior experience with podcasts is required.

If you are interested, please send a one page proposal outlining your concept and potential guests for a quarterly collection of podcasts to by October 15th.

All the best –
Cindy (for the M&A Team)
